‘Jobin’ is a universal platform that helps to search for job offers as well as CVs and is specifically designed for the Republic of South Africa (RSA), so that its residents are encouraged to find their dream job, while the largest global companies operating in the local market are trying to allure motivated workers. UAB ‘Dirba.lt’, which is located in Kaunas Science and Technology Park, has been developing this platform by employing algorithms which can automatically link an employer’s job vacancies with job seekers’ uploaded CVs. For this reason, registered website users no longer need to constantly scroll through the website because the system can automatically select the best offers. ‘This job search website is sort of like a dating site, but you build rapport in your professional life. Companies and job seekers are choosing us because our website is modern, fast, practical and simple to use. Selection is carried out by algorithms that ease and quicken the process of job searching as well as employee recruitment,’ says the head of UAB ‘Dirba.lt’, Steponas Jurelė. Currently, the website “Jobin” stands out in terms of the large number of people who apply for job vacancies. The monthly traffic for this South African-based website is estimated to be more than 150,000 visitors. Job seekers are tempted by large businesses such as ‘Coca Cola’, ‘Amazon’, ‘The Omnicom Group’, ‘The Rank Consulting Group’ and many others. Each month, these companies receive over 15,000 candidates’ CVs from the ‘Jobin’ system. ‘We invest a lot of money into advertising in popular search engines and social networks such as ‘Facebook’ and ‘Twitter’, etc, so that employers are able to find us themselves. After they test out our services and see an increased amount of traffic from desirable applicants, they become our regular clients,’ the head of ‘Dirba.lt’ says when elaborating on the recognition that has been received from large companies.
