The Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) has recently published a report on innovation ecosystem in Lithuania. It suggests to take a step towards big changes in innovation policy in order to achieve the goals of the Lithuanian Innovation Development Programme 2014–2020.
A national competition for Innovation Prize 2018, established by Lithuanian Innovation Centre, is now open for applications. The winner of this competition will automatically move into a final three and get the chance to additionally win an international award – the Baltic Innovation Prize, established by the Baltic Assembly and the Baltic Association of Science/Technology Parks and Innovation Centers.
Kaunas STP located company “Icy365” was recognised as one of 50 the most innovative startups in Europe. The organizers of “unbound London” innovation festival had selected the most promising technological solutions.
As a member of Kaunas STP ICT cluster "Digital Rocket LT", Tomas Urbonas, the head of SONARO, UAB had participated in CeBIT Australia. The businessman says it was a great opportunity to see the broad picture of ICT industry and looks for business possibilities.
